This one is copyright 2000, Karen Bogert.

This is Mark and Brenda coming into a 90 right at a crossroads.
Setting up on the right side of the road and giving the back of the car
a "flick" just before the corner sets the car up for the right
attitude. This helps maintain as much speed as possible through the
corner. It also make for good photos!
Photos by Ted "TCOB" Lyons.

These are shots taken at 1999 STPR. This was our second trip to this
rally and we were a little more comfortable with the roads. The famous
creek crossing is a great place for both competitors and spectators.
The bad part is, if you are going too slow, you will get booed.

This one is courtesy of Bob Sanderson:

Here is our team manager, Mary, in her natural environment.
We all realize none of this is possible without her.

These photos were taken by Mark Warren. They are from the Wanderin'
Star and Paris by Night ProRallies. The events were run at Camp Maxey,
just north of Paris, Texas. On one of them you will see we are in a
severe ditch hook. Before you conclude that this is a common technique
used by us, understand that these roads serve as tank training for the
military and thus have wide, flat ditches. Everyone was using them.
This was also the event where J.B. Niday received dancing lessons at a
local club, from a guy!

Here is a photo from Headwaters 99. This is right before we were
passed. Unfortunately, the gravel shower during the pass took out all
of our lights, the windshield and the radiator. We made it one more
stage before retiring.

These are shots from one of our Rallycrosses here in MN. They are taken
by Will MacDonald. Rallycross is a great sport for learning and getting
yourself ready to go into ProRally.

These are from the 1998 Lake Superior PRO Rally.
The first two, from left to right, are from Stage #1, last 0.10 mile before the finish.
The third photo is from the 2nd Brockway Mountain Stage. Brockway was a paved (and FUN) stage!

The first is on Stage 2 and the second picture is on Stage 7. We finished 13th overall and 2nd in Group 5.

A couple of pictures of the Omni in action at the 1998 STPR. In the Divisional Runoffs, we finished 1st Overall and 1st in O2. Photos by Bob Sanderson.

The Charger after the 1998 Headwaters. Ouch! Photo by Will MacDonald.

The Charger pulling into service (after Stage 3) at Headwaters 1998 to be worked on by our crew: Todd, Mary, Joe, Trina, and Jim. We ended up finishing in 3rd overall, 1st in O2. Unfortunately, this was to be the only event for the new Charger. On Stage 6, a large tree decided it wanted a closer look at Mark's door, leaving the car too bent to be repaired safely. We will be racing in the Omni for the rest of the season. Photos by Jim Konkler.

The Charger on a special stage at the 1998 Headwaters. This is the only photo we have of the Charger in action. If anyone out there has some photos of our Charger, please contact us.

Photos of the new car (Dodge Shelby Charger) at the Minneapolis Auto Show, 1998.

These pictures were taken by George Beckerman (Mike Hurst's crew member). We'll let him describe them: Both were taken at Lake Superior this past year ('97). The one with the dust was taken about a mile into the first stage just after the spectator area. There was some crowd reaction and applause just before you came into view at my location. Don't know what you did, but the spectators were impressed! The other was on Menge Creek, (SS#5, I think), about a half mile in. You were really moving, accelerating hard all through this sweeper. Most of the RWD guys were on and off the throttle searching for traction--the worst seemed to be the RX-7's--and the other 2WD cars, except for Sam Bryan, didn't appear to be carrying as much speed as you. I used an old 35mm Pentax and a 200mm telephoto, leaning out into the road a bit from the bank I was standing on, aimed, and clicked. What an experience! Where else in motorsport can you get this close to the action?

1997 Lake Superior PRO Rally press stage photo. Mark is taking someone for a spin. After the press people had taken their rides, they let spectators go out for rides.

This is the axle we lost in the 1997 Ojibwe Forests PRO Rally (Minnesota). It was halfway through stage nine of a ten stage divisional. We limped to the finish of the stage (one wheel drive) to find out stage ten was thrown due to a spectator car parked on the stage. Since stage ten was tossed, we won our class. We're still paying that guy! We went back on Sunday to see where we had gone off and found the axle right in the middle of the road. The photo is literally where we found the axle. Some of the other competitors had said they saw the axle and wondered where the car had went. Welded diffs are great!

This is at the 1997 Lockwood Lake PRO Rally and school. Paul and Mark won our class and finished second overall. It was so dusty, one of the competitors, Scott Harvey Jr., lost his lunch due to ingesting too much dust.

A couple shots of us on Steamboat Trail at the 1997 Headwaters Divisional PRO Rally in Minnesota. We finished first in class at Headwaters beginning a season full of O2 victories.
